Fifteen minutes by light aircraft
Saadani is only approximately 15 minutes by light aircraft from Zanzibar, offering one of the easiest ways to combine a Zanzibar beach holiday with a mainland wildlife safari.
Flights arrive at Saadani Airstrip, where we can arrange your transfer to the camp. The alternative is to return to Dar es Salaam and continue by road or air from there — see that page.
Combining the two
Guests can enjoy the unique combination of bush, beach, river and wildlife, then continue their holiday in Zanzibar. A few nights here for the game and the empty beach, a few nights in Stone Town for the streets and the food. They complement each other rather than repeat each other, which is not true of most island pairings.
