How to reach us
Cterra is 100 km north of Dar es Salaam, on the coast inside Saadani National Park, facing the Zanzibar channel. Getting here is the question guests ask most, so here is the honest answer.
From Dar es Salaam
Cterra Saadani is approximately a 3-hour scenic drive from Dar es Salaam, making it an ideal destination for a weekend escape or a short safari getaway.
The journey takes you through scenic coastal landscapes before entering Saadani National Park. A 4×4 vehicle is recommended, especially during the rainy season. Private transfers with experienced drivers can be arranged on request.
Guests may also travel by light aircraft to Saadani Airstrip, followed by a short transfer to the camp.
Only 15 minutes flight from Zanzibar by Air
Saadani is only approximately 15 minutes by light aircraft from Zanzibar, offering one of the easiest ways to combine a Zanzibar beach holiday with a mainland wildlife safari.
Flights arrive at Saadani Airstrip, where we can arrange your transfer to the camp. Guests can enjoy the unique combination of bush, beach, river and wildlife, then continue their holiday in Zanzibar.
