Game drive

Saadani is not a crowded park. On most drives you will not pass another vehicle, which changes the character of the whole thing: the animals are not performing, and neither are you.

The open savannah behind the camp holds elephant, giraffe, buffalo, warthog, yellow baboon and at least a dozen antelope species. Lion are present and occasionally seen. Because the park meets the ocean, you can finish a drive and be in the sea twenty minutes later.

Drives run early morning and late afternoon, when the animals move and the light is worth having.

Experiences are booked with the camp. Where they are configured in our reservation system you can add them while booking; otherwise tell us and we will arrange it. The park conservation fee applies to any activity inside the park and is paid at the gate.
